What does it feel like to have long hair?

I'm a guy and I've never grown my hair out until now. It's only like 1 1/2 inches long right now. I can feel a little hair brushing my ears and it's kind of ticklish and fuzzy. So what is it like to have long hair? It's going to take forever to grow my hair out...so I'd like a teaser! By the way my hair is kind of wavy and curly. What does it feel like to when the wind blows it? What does it feel like when it's in your face? Let me know everything!
