Same marriage?

Very long and complicated question. When religion is involved, especially when talking about the western world, things get a little grey around the edges. I totally think that same marriages should be legal everywhere, love is love! The fact that most laws state that it's wrong is based on religion and religion in my mind is a matter of opinion. In Canada, same marriage is legal. I have also noticed that religion is pushed less when it comes to govermental decision making! I'm very glad I'm Canadian! Good question, thank you!
