Why are people so mean when you ask a question about a dog?

My daughter ask a question about her dog if the dog could be pregnant. My daughter is 10 year old. I was here and I was supervising my daughter. When a question was asked by us usually she writes it with us here with her. She did nothing wrong. Since my first question was answered so rudely I thought I would explain more details. Thanks to the people that answered in a good way. There is no sense in being mean to know one.
