Stubborn prosecutor all of a sudden going to drop no-contact order?
What a nice bf you have - takes no accountability for his actions, but blames it on being drunk. Poor excuse. You must have had to call the police for him to be charged at all. Once the police saw the damage, it was no longer in your hands, but the police and they charged him according to the law. No, the hearing is not a good thing for your bf. The police report will state all the evidence against him and he cannot deny it. It will probably not be negative for you, as you didn't ask him to get drunk nor break into your home. The only negative factor for you will be the door repair. The fact that you initially wanted to have him charged will also be noted on the police report, even though you have recanted. I seriously doubt the charges will be dropped due to the evidence. You will not be required to appear as you were not the instigator. Besides, the judge may look at the bf/gf thing as any testimony you give as a "love" testimony, not factual.
