Snuck meat in my food....Vegetarian?
First, chill! It sucks to live in a world that does not understand being a vegetarian, but its YOUR responsibility to accomodate your own needs, if they differ from the rest. No, you cannot SUE them-no real harm was done. Its likely that the pepperoni came from pizza close by, and it was not intentionally put there. If you want to be certain that you are eating truly vegetarian foods, then bring your own lunch. My 13 year old daughter has been veggie most of her life, and she takes a hot thermos lunch every day. If you WERE allergic to certain foods, you would take extra steps to make sure you didn;t get them accidentally-I know, because I am allergic to loads of things, and I don't trust others to prepare my food for me. If you want to be a vegetarian, thats great-but don't give it a bad name by making it other people's responsibility to accomodate you-sorry but the world just doesnt work that way. Take action by bringing your own lunch, and avoid the drama of it all-it will only give others reason to criticize you and your choices. Sadly, its a meat eating world, and nothing you do will change that-you can only change the way YOU react to it. Expecting others to come around to your way of thinking is not productive, or in any ones best interest.
